Mounting and Integration
The 3RT1035-3AV60: Mounts via screw or snap-on onto 35 mm standard mounting rail per DIN EN 50022. The S2 frame footprint — 55 mm wide, 112 mm high, 115 mm deep — fits standard DIN-rail enclosures with room for side-by-side mounting. Pollution degree 3 rating means it tolerates conductive pollution in industrial atmospheres without conformal coating on the rail. Main circuit terminals are screw-type, accepting 2x (0.75... 25 mm²) stranded or 2x (0.75... 16 mm²) solid/stranded. The control circuit takes 2x (0.25... 2.5 mm²) solid. Minimum 16 mm² at 40 °C for the main circuit. IP20 on the front, IP00 at the terminals — wire into the panel, not exposed to touch.
Duty Ratings and Switching Performance
The AC-1 resistive load rating supports 1,200 operations per hour; AC-3 motor switching drops to 1,000 ops/h; AC-4 severe duty is 300 ops/h. Arcing time is 10–15 ms, with an AC operate time of 7–20 ms. DC switching capability is provided: 10 A at 24 V, 2 A at 60 V, 1 A at 110 V, and 0.3 A at 220 V — useful for DC control circuits or small DC motor loads. The mechanical life is typical 10 million operations.
