Siemens SIRIUS 3RT1036-1AK60 Power Contactor
The Siemens SIRIUS 3RT1036-1AK60 is a Size S2 power contactor rated for motor switching at 30 kW at 500 V AC-3 and 22 kW at 400 V AC-2. The front panel carries an IP20 rating; the terminals themselves are IP00.
AC-3 rating of 30 kW at 500 V is the motor-switching capacity for standard squirrel-cage motors — this is the figure that determines whether the contactor can handle the locked-rotor current during start. The AC-2 rating of 22 kW at 400 V applies to slip-ring motors or wound-rotor applications where the load current is interrupted at lower inrush. For resistive loads (AC-1), the contactor can cycle up to 1,000 operations per hour; for AC-3, 800 per hour; for AC-4 (plugging/reversing), 300 per hour. The coil operates across a 0.8 to 1.1 range of rated voltage at 50 or 60 Hz, with arcing time between 10 and 20 ms.
The 55 mm wide, 112 mm tall, 115 mm deep footprint fits standard S2 cutouts. Side-by-side mounting is allowed without derating.
