SIRIUS Size S2 Power Contactor
Rated for AC-4 duty at 41 A and 400 V, this contactor handles the severe switching conditions of plugging or inching motor loads — the kind of high-stress duty that quickly wears standard contactors. For less demanding AC-2 applications (starting and running slip-ring motors), it carries 22 kW at 400 V. At 500 V it is rated for 30 kW, and at 690 V for 11.4 kW, making it suitable for 400 V to 690 V three-phase systems common in European and export panels.
Solid conductors accepted in ranges: 2x (0.5 to 1.5 mm²), 2x (0.75 to 2.5 mm²), and up to 2x (0.75 to 4 mm²). Stranded conductors from 2x (0.75 to 25 mm²) are supported, with a minimum permissible cross-section of 16 mm² at 40 °C.
Maximum switching rates: 1,000 cycles/hour at AC-1, 800 at AC-3, 400 at AC-2, and 300 at AC-4.
Coil and Auxiliary Ratings
Coil operates at 50 Hz with a voltage tolerance of 0.8 to 1.1 times rated. Auxiliary contact ratings: 10 A at 24 V, 6 A at 230 V, 3 A at 400 V, 2 A at 60 V, 1 A at 110 V, and 0.3 A at 220 V.
