SIRIUS power contactor, size S2
Side-by-side mounting is supported, so no derating for zero-gap installation. Main circuit connections are screw-type terminals, accepting solid conductors 2x (0.25... 2.5 mm²) and stranded 2x (0.75... 25 mm²). The terminal enclosure is rated IP00, while the front face is IP20 — adequate for enclosed panels, not for open washdown zones.
The 30 kW at 500 V is the motor-switching capacity under AC-3 duty (starting and running induction motors). For AC-2 duty (slip-ring motors or reversing starts), the rating drops to 22 kW at 400 V — the higher switching frequency and longer arcing time (10... 15 ms) reduce the thermal capacity. Rated operational current for the coil circuit at 24 V is 10 A, dropping to 0.3 A at 220 V — this is the auxiliary contact rating, not the main power path. The main power path is defined by the motor kW ratings above.
If you are cross-referencing a panel built around the 3RT1036-1AB00 (a DC-coil variant with different terminal arrangement), the 3RT1036-3AG20 uses screw-type terminals and an AC coil (50/60 Hz, 110 V rated). The physical footprint (55 x 112 x 115 mm) and DIN-rail clip are identical, but the coil voltage and terminal style differ — verify the coil supply before swapping.
