The main power circuit uses screw-type terminals; stranded cable up to 2x 50 mm² fits the power lugs, so it handles heavy motor feeders without needing an adapter. Solid or ferruled control wiring goes down to 0.5 mm² on the coil/aux terminals.
Operating conditions and endurance
Mechanical endurance is 10 million cycles typical; electrical switching frequency tops out at 1000 operations per hour for AC-1 and AC-3 duty, dropping to 300 per hour for the punishing AC-4 (plugging/inching) category. Arcing time runs 10 to 15 ms, with total make/break time around 10 to 19 ms — fast enough for most motor control circuits.
