Siemens SIRIUS 3RT1054-1AR36 — Size S6 Power Contactor
It carries a rated voltage of 440 to 480 V and comes with an integrated auxiliary switch, screw-type coil terminals, and a screw fixing mount — the standard panel-mount approach for this frame class.
The contactor's AC-3 switching frequency is rated at 1 000 operations per hour — that's the standard motor-starting duty cycle for conveyors, pumps, and fans. AC-4 drops to 130 ops/h, which covers plugging and inching applications where the motor is reversed or jogged under load. Auxiliary contact ratings are provided at various voltages: 10 A at 24 V, 2 A at 48 V and 60 V, 1 A at 110 V, 0.9 A at 125 V, and 0.3 A at 220 V. These are the make/break limits for the built-in auxiliary switch — useful for interlocking or status feedback without adding a separate block.
Dimensions: 172 mm high, 120 mm wide, 170 mm deep. Power circuit wiring accepts stranded conductors from 16 to 70 mm². The coil terminals are screw-type, accepting solid or stranded wire: 2x (0.5 to 1.5 mm²), 2x (0.75 to 2.5 mm²), or max 2x (0.75 to 4 mm²). That covers most control-circuit cable sizes in a standard panel.
Environmental and Operating Limits
The storage limit is broader because the contactor is not under load — that's the handling and shelf-life spec, not the running limit.
