The Siemens 3RT1054-2AP36 is a SIRIUS power contactor in the S6 frame size, designed for switching motor loads in industrial control panels. It carries a 220-240 VAC coil with spring-type terminals, and the main power circuit accepts stranded conductors from 25 to 120 mm².
Mounting and integration
Mounts via screw fixing (two 9 mm holes) to a vertical surface, with ±90° rotatability and ±22.5° tilt front-to-back. The 172 x 120 x 170 mm (H x W x D) envelope fits standard S6 panel cutouts. Maintain 10 mm clearance upwards, downwards, and to the side, and 20 mm forward for arc venting.
Operating conditions and ratings
Rated for continuous operation from -25 to +60 °C ambient; storage range -55 to +80 °C. Mechanical life typical 10 million cycles. Switching frequency varies by duty: AC-1 up to 800 ops/h, AC-3 up to 1000 ops/h, AC-4 up to 130 ops/h. Arcing time 10-15 ms; pick-up and drop-out times 40-60 ms for both AC and DC coils.
Auxiliary and control wiring
Includes an auxiliary switch. Control circuit terminals accept solid or stranded 2x (0.25-2.5 mm²). Auxiliary contact ratings: 10 A at 24 V, 2 A at 48 V, 2 A at 60 V, 1 A at 110 V.
