SIRIUS S6 Power Contactor — 110 V DC Coil
It is a current-production part within the SIRIUS family, built for high-duty-cycle applications. The DC coil is rated at 110 V, with a closing time of 80 to 90 ms and an arcing time of 10 to 15 ms. The hold-in power is lower than the pick-up, typical for DC-operated contactors — factor this into your control transformer sizing if using a shared DC supply. Mechanical life is rated at 10 million operating cycles, with maximum switching frequencies varying by duty class: 1,000 cycles/hour for AC-3 motor switching, 800 for AC-1 resistive, and 130 for AC-4 plugging/reversing. For DC loads, it handles up to 6 A at 24 V, 2 A at 48 V and 60 V.
Fastened via screw fixing — four 9 mm diameter holes on a standard footprint. Dimensions are 172 mm high, 120 mm wide, and 170 mm deep. This is a Size S6 frame — plan for at least 190 mm of usable depth in the enclosure to allow for wiring and arc-chamber clearance. Terminals accept solid conductors up to 2x 2.5 mm² and stranded up to 2x 70 mm² for the main circuit. An auxiliary switch is included, which simplifies adding status feedback without a separate add-on block.
