SIRIUS S6 Power Contactor, 110–127 VAC Coil
The coil is wound for 110–127 V AC, which places it in the standard control-voltage range common across European and North American 120 V control circuits. Screw-type coil terminals and a screw-fixing mounting method mean it integrates into a conventional panel without special tooling.
The S6 frame is the physical envelope that determines panel cutout and bus-bar spacing — the 3RT1055-1AF36 occupies a 120 mm width, 172 mm height, and 170 mm depth. Power wiring accepts stranded conductors from 16 to 70 mm², sized for the main circuit of a motor branch. The auxiliary contact block, included as standard, carries a 10 A rating at 24 V, derating to 0.3 A at 220 V — these are the figures that govern control-circuit interface with a PLC output or relay.
Switching Duty and Thermal Limits
Mechanical life is typical at 10 million operations. Switching frequency varies by duty: AC-1 (resistive) max 800 cycles/hour, AC-3 (motor starting) max 750 cycles/hour, AC-4 (plugging/inching) max 130 cycles/hour.
These numbers govern how tightly the contactor can be packed next to other devices or enclosure walls.
