The Siemens 3RT1055-6AF36-3PA0 is a SIRIUS power contactor in the S6 frame size. It is designed for switching motor loads and resistive loads in industrial control panels, with a control coil rated for 110–127 V (both AC and DC). The built-in auxiliary switch covers basic status feedback without an add-on block.
Mounting and footprint
Dimensions: height 172 mm, width 120 mm, depth 170 mm. Fastening by screw fixing. Mounting position allows rotation of +/-90° on a vertical surface and tilting of +/-22.5° front-to-back — useful for tight enclosures or angled panels. Minimum clearance to adjacent parts: 10 mm upwards, 10 mm downwards, 20 mm forwards, 10 mm sideways. Main power terminals accept stranded conductors from 25 to 120 mm². Coil terminals accept solid or stranded wire: 2x (0.5–1.5 mm²), 2x (0.75–2.5 mm²), max 2x (0.75–4 mm²). Use ferrule for stranded on coil terminals to avoid strand whiskers.
