The 3RT1055-6AM36: Power-side conductors accept stranded wire from 25 to 120 mm²; the auxiliary/coil terminals take solid or stranded 0.5–4 mm² (2x conductors per clamp). This covers most motor feeder and control wiring in a single termination.
Duty-cycle capability and switching limits
The AC-3 rate is the one that governs most standard motor applications. These intervals matter when coordinating with upstream short-circuit protection or sequencing multiple contactors.
Coil and auxiliary circuit details
The magnet coil is rated for 200–220 V AC and uses screw-type terminals. Auxiliary switch contacts are rated at 24 V (10 A), 48 V (2 A), 60 V (2 A), and 110 V (1 A) — sufficient for PLC inputs or indicator lamps in most control panels. An auxiliary switch is included as standard, so no separate add-on block is needed for basic status feedback — confirm the contact configuration matches your control logic before wiring.
Thermal environment and storage
The 60 °C ceiling is typical for enclosed panels without forced ventilation — if the panel internal ambient exceeds this, derate or add cooling.
