Wiring and Terminal Capacity
The 3RT1055-6NF36: Main power terminals accept stranded conductors from 25 mm² up to 120 mm², sized for the S6 frame's current rating. Auxiliary/control terminals accept solid or stranded wire: 2x (0.5 to 1.5 mm²), 2x (0.75 to 2.5 mm²), or max 2x (0.75 to 4 mm²). Screw fixing to the mounting surface; allow 10 mm clearance upwards, downwards, and at the side, plus 20 mm forward for arc-chamber clearance.
Operating Conditions and Mechanical Life
Mechanical life is typical 10,000,000 operations. Maximum switching rates: 800 cycles/hour at AC-1, 750 at AC-3, 300 at AC-2, 130 at AC-4.
Coil and Switching Characteristics
Coil pick-up at 80% of rated voltage (0.8 initial value); dropout at 1.1x full-scale value. Operate time is 80-90 ms on both AC and DC supply. Arcing time 10-15 ms. Auxiliary switch is included as standard. Contact ratings for auxiliary contacts: 10 A at 24 V, 2 A at 48 V, 2 A at 60 V, 1 A at 110 V.
