Integrator note – What this contactor is and where it fits
This is a Siemens SIRIUS power contactor, order code 3RT1056-6AP36, in the S6 frame size. Rated coil voltage is 220-240 V AC/DC. The contactor is 172 mm high, 120 mm wide, 170 mm deep. Main circuit terminals accept stranded wire from 25 to 120 mm². It's designed for switching motor loads up to the AC-3 duty class; the auxiliary switch is included. Mounting is screw fixing on a vertical surface, rotatable ±90° and tiltable ±22.5°. Operating temperature range is -25 to +60 °C. This is a current-production part, so it's being manufactured now.
Integration – Mounting and termination
Mount the contactor on a vertical surface using four screws through the 9 mm holes. The frame can be rotated ±90° or tilted ±22.5° forward/back. Main power terminals: stranded wire 25–120 mm². Coil terminals are screw-type and accept solid/stranded from 0.5 to 4 mm². Auxiliary switch terminals are also screw-type, same range. Keep clearance: 10 mm above/below, 20 mm front, 10 mm sides, 10 mm air path for arc. Switching frequency: up to 750 ops/h in AC-3, 130 in AC-4. Coil pickup/dropout time 40-60 ms. Rated operational power? Not in this evidence, but the S6 frame typically handles motors up to 75 kW in AC-3.
