The Siemens 3RT1064-2XB46-0LA2 is a SIRIUS S10 power contactor with a 24 VDC coil and an integrated auxiliary switch, designed for screw fixing onto a vertical mounting surface with ±90° rotation and ±22.5° tilt front-to-back. At 210 mm high, 145 mm wide, and 202 mm deep, this S10-frame contactor occupies a defined footprint in the panel — the clearances needed are 10 mm upwards, 20 mm forwards, 10 mm downwards, and 10 mm at the side. The coil pulls 6 A at its 24 VDC rated value, with an arcing time of 10 to 15 ms and a DC dropout delay of 80 to 100 ms — numbers that matter when coordinating with upstream protection or PLC output cards.
This contactor is rated for different switching frequencies depending on the load type: 700 operations per hour maximum under AC-1 resistive loads, 500/h under AC-3 motor starting, and 130/h under AC-4 plugging or inching duty. For DC loads, the maximum switching frequency is 350/h under DC-1 resistive, and 250/h under DC-3 or DC-5 motor or lamp loads. The auxiliary contact set carries 6 A at 24 VDC, 2 A at 48 V or 60 V, 1 A at 110 V, and 0.9 A at 125 V — derate accordingly when using the auxiliary for control logic feedback.
