SIRIUS S10 power contactor — 96-127 VAC coil, screw terminals
The Siemens 3RT1064-6PF35 is a SIRIUS-brand power contactor in the S10 frame size, designed for motor switching and resistive load control in industrial control panels. The coil is rated for 96-127 VAC, with screw-type terminals for the magnet coil connection. Its mounting position allows a vertical surface with ±90° rotation and ±22.5° tilt front-to-back, giving flexibility in dense panel layouts where gland-plate clearance or busbar routing constrains orientation.
Panel footprint and wiring capacity
The contactor occupies 165 mm width, 210 mm height, and 202 mm depth — the depth dimension matters when the panel backplate is close to the enclosure door or when a shrouded busbar system runs behind the contactor. Side clearance of 10 mm and forward clearance of 20 mm are required for arc dissipation and airflow. Power circuit wiring accepts stranded conductors from 70 to 240 mm²; control circuit terminals handle solid or stranded wire in ranges from 0.5 mm² up to 4 mm² per clamp. The main terminals use a single 11 mm diameter hole for bolted bus or cable lug connections.
Coil draw and operational limits
The coil operates on a 96-127 VAC supply with an 80-100 ms pick-up and drop-out time, both AC and DC. The arcing time is 10-15 ms, which factors into contact wear calculations for switching inductive loads. Ambient operating range is -25 to +60 °C; storage extends from -55 to +80 °C. The rated switching frequency varies by duty: up to 750 operations/hour at AC-1, 500/h at AC-3, and 130/h at AC-4, reflecting the thermal recovery time between arcs.
