It carries a 96-127 V AC/DC coil with screw-type terminals and includes an integrated auxiliary switch for feedback or interlocking. The AC-3 switching frequency is rated at 500 operations per hour maximum, which matches the duty cycle of most motor-starting applications.
Mounting and panel fit — what the S10 frame means for your enclosure
This contactor mounts via screw fixing through an 11 mm diameter hole, not snap-on DIN rail. The S10 frame measures 210 mm high by 145 mm wide by 202 mm deep, so plan the backplate layout accordingly — it needs a solid 202 mm of depth clearance inside the enclosure, plus 10 mm clearance downwards, 10 mm upwards, 10 mm at the side, and 20 mm forward for arc flash and cooling. Power wiring accepts stranded cable from 70 mm² up to 240 mm², while the coil and auxiliary terminals take solid or stranded wire from 0.5 mm² up to 4 mm² (max 2 conductors per terminal).
MTBF is 75 years.
Coil and auxiliary contact behaviour
The coil operates on 96-127 V AC or DC, with a pick-up threshold of 0.8 times the rated value and a dropout of 0.4 times. The integrated auxiliary switch is rated at 10 A at 24 V, 2 A at 48 V, and 2 A at 60 V — enough for PLC inputs or status lamps without needing a separate relay block.
