SIRIUS S10 power contactor — 220-240 VAC coil, size S10
Size S10 frames this for motor loads in the 55-75 kW range typical of conveyor, pump, and compressor duty. The coil holds at 0.8 of rated value and full-scale pick-up is 1.1 — so on a 230 V line it pulls in reliably down to about 184 V and drops out below that margin.
Main pole cable cross-section accepts stranded conductors up to 240 mm² — that's the terminal capacity for the power circuit, not a current rating, but it tells you the contactor is sized for heavy feeds. Auxiliary contacts switch 10 A at 24 V rated value, 2 A at 48 V and 60 V, and 1 A at 110 V — enough for PLC or relay interface circuits on the control side. Maximum switching frequency varies by duty: 800 cycles/hour in AC-1 (resistive), 500 in AC-3 (motor start/run), 250 in AC-2 (slip-ring motor), and 130 in AC-4 (plugging/inching). The AC-3e rating also sits at 500 cycles/hour. For a conveyor line running continuous start/stop, that 500 cycles/hour ceiling governs the real throughput — not the resistive number. Arcing time sits at 10-15 ms, with opening times of 40-80 ms on both AC and DC coils. That timing matters for coordination with upstream short-circuit protection — a downstream fault needs to clear before the contactor's arc extinguishes.
The single 11 mm hole for screw fixing is standard for S10 frame. Dimensions are 210 mm height, 145 mm width, 202 mm depth — plan the DIN-rail or backplate layout accordingly.
