Active production — SIRIUS S10 frame
The 3RT1065-6AU36: Coil is rated 240–277 V AC with a pickup threshold of 0.8× rated value and a drop-out of 1.1× full-scale value, meaning it pulls in reliably on a sagging line but drops out cleanly on undervoltage. Mechanical endurance is 10 million operations typical — a fast mover for high-cycle conveyor or pump applications where contactor life drives the PM schedule.
Panel fit and wiring constraints
Dimensions are 202 mm deep, 145 mm wide, 210 mm tall — the S10 frame is one of the larger contactor footprints; verify backpanel clearance before laying out the gland plate. Mounting is screw fixing on a vertical surface, rotatable ±90° and tiltable ±22.5° front-to-back — gives flexibility in crowded enclosures but the screw fix means no DIN-rail snap-on. Minimum clearance around the contactor: 10 mm upward, downward, and to the sides, 20 mm forward — these are the ventilation and arc-flash spacing; crowding them derates the thermal capacity.
Terminal capacity and auxiliary contacts
Main power terminals accept 70–240 mm² stranded cable — sized for motor feeders up to the S10 current class; the lug hole is 11 mm diameter, single hole per phase.
Duty-cycle limits per load class
Switching frequency caps vary by duty: AC-1 (resistive) allows 800 operations/hour, AC-3 (motor starting) 500 ops/h, AC-4 (plugging/inching) 130 ops/h — the AC-4 ceiling is the one that governs high-duty-cycle applications like reversing conveyors.
