SIRIUS Size S10 power contactor — panel fit and switching duty
Dimensions are 210 mm high, 145 mm wide, 202 mm deep — fits standard enclosure backplates without surprises. Switching rates per hour: 800 at AC-1 (resistive), 250 at AC-2 (slip-ring motors), 500 at AC-3 (squirrel-cage motors), 130 at AC-4 (plugging/inching), and 500 at AC-3e. Operate time is 80 to 100 ms on both AC and DC coils, with arcing time 10–15 ms. That means the contactor closes fast enough for standard motor starting but not so fast it causes nuisance trips from inrush.
Wiring and auxiliary contacts
Power circuit wiring accepts stranded conductors from 70 mm² up to 240 mm² — that's a heavy cable range, sized for the full rated current of the S10 frame. The magnet coil uses screw-type terminals; solid wire sizes accepted are 2x (0.5 to 1.5 mm²), 2x (0.75 to 2.5 mm²), and max 2x (0.75 to 4 mm²).
