The coil is rated for 42-48 V AC/DC, with a pickup threshold of 0.8 times the rated value — meaning it will reliably pull in at about 33.6 V and hold down to that level, giving you some margin on a sagging 48 V control supply. The main power circuit accepts stranded conductors from 70 mm² up to 240 mm² — that's a serious cable range for a contactor this size, covering everything from a 70 mm² motor feed to a 240 mm² bus tie. The coil terminals are screw-type, accepting 2x (0.5 to 1.5 mm²), 2x (0.75 to 2.5 mm²), or up to 2x (0.75 to 4 mm²) solid or stranded wire.
Duty Class and Switching Frequency
This contactor is rated for different maximum switching frequencies depending on the utilization category. In AC-3 duty (squirrel-cage motor starting), it's good for 500 operations per hour. In AC-4 duty (plugging/reversing/inching), that drops to 130 ops/hr. AC-1 (resistive) allows 750 ops/hr, and AC-2 (slip-ring motor) is 250 ops/hr. The AC-3e rating also sits at 500 ops/hr. The arcing time is 10-15 ms, and the operating time (both AC and DC) is 40-80 ms — that's the interval from coil energization to main contact closure.
Mounting is via screw fixing with an 11 mm hole diameter. The contactor can be mounted on a vertical surface and rotated ±90°, or tilted forward/backward ±22.5°. That gives you some flexibility in panel layout — you're not locked into one orientation. The auxiliary switch is included (yes), and the mechanical endurance is a typical 10 million operations.
