The 3RT1066-6NF36: The coil is rated 96-127 V, accepting both AC and DC control voltage, with a pickup dropout tolerance of 0.8 x the rated value (76.8 V minimum) and a 1.1 x full-scale overvoltage ceiling. The main power circuit accepts stranded cable from 70 to 240 mm², while the auxiliary control wiring takes solid or stranded conductors in the range 0.5-4 mm² via screw-type terminals. This wire range suits both heavy motor feeders and smaller signal wiring in the same enclosure.
Switching frequency and duty-cycle limits
The AC-3e rating also caps at 500 ops/h. These limits reflect the thermal recovery time of the contactor — exceeding them risks contact welding or accelerated wear. Arcing time is 10-15 ms for both AC and DC switching, with a total operate/release time of 80-100 ms on either supply type.
Mounting is by screw fixing (two 11 mm holes) on a vertical surface, with the contactor rotatable ±90° and tiltable ±22.5° front-to-back.
