SIRIUS S12 Contactor with 72 VDC Coil
It uses a 72 VDC coil with a rated control supply voltage of 72 V DC and a pickup ratio of 0.7 x Uc (initial value). The contactor is fastened via screw fixing and supports a mounting position with a vertical mounting surface, rotatable ±90° and tiltable ±22.5° front-to-back. Dimensions are 225 mm depth, 160 mm width, and 214 mm height, with clearance requirements of 10 mm upwards, 20 mm forwards, 10 mm downwards, and 10 mm at the side.
Switching Performance and Duty Ratings
Maximum switching frequency varies by duty: 500 operations per hour for AC-1 (resistive), AC-3 (motor starting/running), and AC-3e; 200 ops/h for AC-2 (slip-ring motor); 130 ops/h for AC-4 (plugging/inching); and 250 ops/h for DC-1, DC-3, and DC-5. Mechanical endurance is typical 10,000,000 operations. DC switching capacity at 24 V rated value is 6 A; at 48 V and 60 V, 2 A; at 110 V, 1 A; at 125 V, 0.9 A.
Fastening is via screw fixing with one hole of 11 mm diameter. Solid or stranded wire connections accept 2x (0.25 to 2.5 mm²).
