Vacuum interrupters keep the arc contained, so the contactor handles higher switching frequencies than an equivalent air-break unit — rated up to 750 operations per hour in AC-3 duty and 250 per hour in AC-4. The coil pulls in on a 21 to 27.3 VDC supply, with screw-type terminals for the magnet coil. Operating delay is 80 to 100 ms on both pickup and dropout, regardless of AC or DC supply to the coil circuit. Panel mounting is via screw fixing through four 11 mm holes, with a footprint of 210 mm high by 145 mm wide and a depth of 206 mm.
Power Circuit Termination
Main power conductors land on terminals accepting stranded cable from 70 mm² up to 240 mm² — sized for the full rated current of the S10 frame. Auxiliary control wiring uses solid or stranded conductors: 2x 0.5 to 1.5 mm², 2x 0.75 to 2.5 mm², or a maximum of 2x 0.75 to 4 mm².
The built-in auxiliary switch is rated for 10 A at 24 V, 2 A at 48 V and 60 V, and 1 A at 110 V — all at the respective rated values. These are the contact ratings for the auxiliary block, not the main poles.
The contactor is rated for 10 million typical mechanical operations.
