The coil accepts 200-277 V AC or DC, with a pickup dropout ratio of 0.8 per the datasheet — meaning the coil holds in down to 160 V on a 200 V nominal supply, a useful margin for brownout ride-through on a critical motor circuit.
Mounts via screw fixing through an 11 mm hole; the S10 frame measures 210 mm high by 145 mm wide by 206 mm deep. Power wiring accepts stranded cable from 70 mm² up to 240 mm², sized for the full rated current of the S10 frame.
Duty Ratings and Switching Frequency
Switching frequency varies by duty class: 750 operations per hour in AC-1 (resistive) and AC-3 (squirrel-cage motor starting), 250 ops/h in AC-2 (slip-ring motor) and AC-4 (plugging/inching). The AC-3e rating also permits 750 ops/h. For a conveyor drive cycling every 4.8 seconds, the 750 ops/h ceiling is the limit — exceeding it would require derating or a larger frame. Arcing time is specified at 10-15 ms, and the contactor picks up or drops out within 80-100 ms on both AC and DC supplies.
Environmental Limits and Auxiliary Ratings
The auxiliary switch is rated 10 A at 24 V, 2 A at 48 V, 2 A at 60 V, and 1 A at 110 V — these are the make/break capacities for the control circuit, not the main poles.
