The 3RT1266-6AB36: The main circuit accepts stranded conductors from 70 mm² up to 240 mm² — that is a heavy cable range, sized for high-current motor feeders. The auxiliary circuit uses screw-type terminals accepting 2x (0.5–1.5 mm²) solid or 2x (0.75–2.5 mm²) stranded, with a maximum of 2x (0.75–4 mm²). At 24 V rated value, the auxiliary contacts are rated 10 A; at 48 V and 60 V they drop to 2 A.
The contactor is rated for 750 operations per hour in AC-1 and AC-3 duty, and 250 operations per hour in AC-2 and AC-4 duty. At 50 Hz and 60 Hz the power factor is 0.9. These ratings matter for applications with frequent starts or reversing — AC-4 duty (plugging, inching) is the most demanding, and the 250 ops/h limit reflects that.
