Vacuum-bottle construction means the arc extinguishes in a sealed chamber, so contact erosion is minimal even on high-cycle applications like conveyors or compressors. Coil pulls in on 110-127 VAC, with a pick-up threshold of 0.8 x rated value and dropout around 0.1 x rated value, so it's forgiving on saggy lines.
Power wiring lands on terminals rated for 70 to 240 mm² stranded copper — that's a serious conductor, sized for the full rated current of the S10 frame. The contactor handles up to 750 switching operations per hour in AC-1 (resistive) and AC-3 (motor) duty, and 250 ops/h in AC-2 and AC-4 (slip-ring motor and plugging/inching). Arcing time runs 10-15 ms, with opening times of 40-80 ms on both AC and DC control — fast enough for most motor-starting applications without nuisance tripping from inrush.
Mounts via screw fixing through an 11 mm hole. Keep 10 mm clearance above and below, 20 mm forward, 10 mm to the sides for arc venting and airflow.
