Spring-loaded terminals on the main circuit accept 2x (0.25 to 2.5 mm²) solid or stranded wire, or 2x (24 to 14 AWG), with IP20 finger protection on the front and at the terminals.
The AC-2 rating of 5.5 kW at 400 V is the figure that matters for motor duty — it confirms the contactor can switch a 5.5 kW induction motor on a 400 V three-phase line under starting and stopping cycles. For resistive loads (AC-12), the maximum operating current is 10 A. The contactor also carries switching capacities at 24 V (10 A), 60 V (2 A), 110 V (1 A), 220 V (0.3 A), 230 V (6 A), and 400 V (3 A) — useful for auxiliary or control circuits at those voltage levels. These values guide the panel builder's fuse selection during commissioning.
