It carries four normally-open main contacts and a 110 V DC coil — a straight-forward fit for a 24 VDC or 48 VDC control bus with a DC-DC converter stepping up to 110 V, or a dedicated 110 VDC supply. Rated for 7.5 kW at AC-2 duty on a 400 V three-phase line, it handles slip-ring motor starting and reversing, where the load current stays high during the transition. The AC-12 rating of 10 A covers resistive and lightly inductive control loads on the main poles. The coil draws 5.4 W both on pick-up and hold — a DC economizer is built into the design, so the holding power doesn't drop. That simplifies the control transformer sizing: a 110 VDC supply rated for 5.4 W continuous per contactor is enough.
The S0 footprint — 61 mm wide, 85 mm tall, 101 mm deep — leaves room for side-by-side mounting without derating, as the datasheet confirms side-by-side is permitted. Screw-type terminals on both the main and auxiliary circuits. The main terminals accept 2x (1 to 2.5 mm²) solid/stranded or up to 2x 10 mm² finely stranded with ferrule; the control circuit takes 2x (0.5 to 1.5 mm²) or 2x (0.75 to 2.5 mm²). AWG equivalents are 2x (20 to 16) for control, 2x (18 to 14) or 1x 12 for the mains.
Type 1 coordination (contactor may need replacement after a fault) allows a 63 A gL/gG fuse. The pollution degree is 3, meaning the contactor is rated for conductive pollution typical in industrial enclosures.
