The 3RT1325-1BM40-ZW95: The 7.5 kW AC-2 rating at 400 V governs switching of slip-ring motors or other moderate-inrush loads — AC-2 covers starting and stopping under load, not just jogging. For AC-1 resistive loads the contactor can handle up to 10 A continuous. The four NO main contacts let it switch three-phase power plus a dedicated control circuit or heater load without an auxiliary block. The coil holding power is 5.4 W DC, and closing power is the same — a DC-operated coil that stays energised continuously.
The 61 mm width and 85 mm height fit standard S0 panel layouts. Side-by-side mounting is permitted — no derating gap needed for the main contacts, though the 6 mm side clearance to grounded metal is a minimum. Terminals accept 2x (0.5–1.5 mm²) solid, 2x (0.75–2.5 mm²) solid, and up to 2x 4 mm² solid for the auxiliary circuit. Main circuit terminals take 2x (1–2.5 mm²) and 2x (2.5–6 mm²) stranded, max 2x 10 mm². AWG equivalents are 2x (20–16) and 2x (18–14) for auxiliary, 1x 12 for main. For Type 2 coordination (no weld under fault), use a gL/gG fuse rated 25 A. For Type 1 coordination (allow weld but clear fault), 63 A gL/gG is specified.
