IP20 on the front, IP00 at the terminals — so the contactor is protected against finger contact on the front face, but the terminal area is open and must be housed inside an enclosure.
Screw-type terminals on the main current circuit accept solid conductors 2x (0.5...1.5 mm²), 2x (0.75...2.5 mm²), max. 2x (0.75...4 mm²); stranded with ferrule 2x (0.5...1.5 mm²), 2x (0.75...2.5 mm²); and AWG 2x (20...16), 2x (18...14), 1x 12. Main circuit stranded accepts 2x (1...2.5 mm²), 2x (2.5...6 mm²), max. 2x 10 mm². Auxiliary contacts use the same AWG range as main contacts.
The contactor has zero normally-closed main contacts, so all four poles are normally-open — typical for motor switching where the load is disconnected on de-energization.
Environmental and life ratings
Maximum operating altitude 2 000 m. Mechanical life typical 10 000 000 operations. The contactor is rated for 50 Hz only (the listed rated frequency).
