The Siemens 3RT1336-1AR60 is a SIRIUS power contactor in size S2, built for switching resistive and motor loads in industrial control panels. Mounting and wiring
Mounts on 35 mm DIN rail per EN 50022 via screw and snap-on — no tools needed for the rail, but the screw terminals need a Pozidriv for the main circuit. Side-by-side mounting is allowed, so you can pack multiple units on the same rail without derating for proximity heat. Main circuit terminals accept solid conductors up to 2x 4 mm² or stranded up to 2x 25 mm². The control circuit takes 0.5–1.5 mm² solid or 0.75–2.5 mm² stranded. Strip length and ferrule sizing follow standard practice — no oddball pitch here.
Environmental and compliance
Rated for pollution degree 3, so it's suited for industrial environments where conductive dust or condensation is present. Operating temperature spans -25 to +60 °C; storage range is -55 to +80 °C. The IP20 front enclosure keeps fingers off live parts inside the panel; the terminals themselves are IP00, meaning the panel enclosure provides the final touch protection.
