If your control transformer is feeding a 24 VAC bus, confirm the line drop under inrush — the coil draws 5.5 VA at both frequencies, so a long cable run or undersized transformer can sag below the pick-up threshold on a cold start. Closing time is 40-70 ms on AC, same window on DC if you ever drive the coil from a rectified supply. That puts it in the standard range for SIRIUS S6 contactors — fast enough for most conveyor and pump starts, but not a high-speed application where you need sub-20 ms make time.
Rated operational currents — what the contactor actually carries
These are the IEC AC-1 resistive load figures — for motor duty (AC-3) you need to derate further; the S6 frame typically handles 9-12 A in AC-3 but always verify against the motor FLA.
Panel fit — dimensions and mounting flexibility

Both main and auxiliary terminals are screw-type, accepting 1x (1-4 mm²) or 2x (1-4 mm²) solid or stranded copper. For a service call where you're landing two outgoing feeds or a daisy-chain from the upstream breaker, the double-wire rating saves a terminal block.
