What it is and what it does
The Siemens 3RT1363-6AE36 is a SIRIUS Size S10 contactor with an AC coil rated 20-60 V at 50/60 Hz. It carries two instantaneous auxiliary contacts and uses screw-type terminals for the coil connection. The coil pulls 6 VA at both 50 Hz and 60 Hz, with a pickup threshold of 0.8x rated voltage and a drop-out threshold of 1.1x rated voltage — meaning it holds in cleanly down to about 16 V and drops out reliably if the supply rises above 66 V. Auxiliary contact ratings cover the common control voltages: 3 A at 24 V, 1.5 A at 48 V, 0.55 A at 110/125 V, 0.3 A at 220 V, 4 A at 230 V, 3 A at 400 V, 2 A at 500 V, and 2 A at 690 V — so it handles both 24 VDC PLC-level switching and 230/400 VAC pilot duty in the same package.

Clearances needed: 10 mm upward, 20 mm forward, 10 mm downward, 10 mm at the side. Dimensions are 196 mm high, 140 mm wide, 153 mm deep — a Size S10 frame that fits standard industrial panel layouts. Accepts solid or stranded wire: 1x (1-4 mm²) or 2x (1-4 mm²) per terminal. Up to two additional auxiliary contact blocks can be attached to the side, expanding the switching capacity without changing the footprint.
