Siemens SIRIUS 3RT1373-6AR36 — S12 Contactor, 250–500 V AC Coil
The Siemens SIRIUS 3RT1373-6AR36 is a size S12 contactor with a 250–500 V AC coil, screw-type terminals on the magnet coil, and an auxiliary switch integrated. It accepts 1x or 2x conductors from 1 to 4 mm² solid or stranded. The contactor measures 225 mm high, 184 mm wide, and 180 mm deep, with screw fixing for vertical mounting surfaces — rotatable ±180° and tiltable ±30° forward/backward when at 0° rotation.
Coil and Switching Ratings
Coil pickup is guaranteed at 0.8x rated voltage; dropout occurs at 1.1x rated. Operating time is 45–80 ms on both AC and DC supplies. Coil draw is 21 VA at both 50 Hz and 60 Hz. Rated operational current varies with voltage: 3 A at 24 V, 1.5 A at 48 V, 0.55 A at 110 V and 125 V, 0.3 A at 220 V, 4 A at 230 V, 3 A at 400 V, 2 A at 500 V, and 2 A at 690 V. The contactor carries two instantaneous auxiliary contacts.
Environmental and Mounting
Operating temperature range is –40 to +60 °C; storage range is –40 to +70 °C. Minimum clearances around the contactor: 10 mm upward, 10 mm downward, 10 mm at the sides, and 20 mm forward. Up to two attachable auxiliary switch blocks can be added. The screw-fixing mount and generous clearance specs make panel layout straightforward — keep the forward gap at 20 mm for airflow and wiring access.
