Rated insulation voltage is 1 000 V, and the contactor carries AC-1 resistive ratings of 50 kW at 230 V (at 60 °C) and 148 kW at 690 V (at 60 °C). For motor duty, AC-3 ratings reach 29.9 kW at 500 V and 38.2 kW at 690 V. Mechanical life is listed at 10 000 000 cycles typical, and the operating temperature range is -25 to +60 °C.
Sizing and duty-cycle notes
The AC-1 resistive rating at 230 V is 50 kW at 60 °C, and at 690 V it reaches 148 kW at 60 °C — these are the numbers to use for heater or lighting banks, not the motor-duty figures. Coil pick-up and drop-out times at AC are 10 to 25 ms.
The contactor is 70 mm wide, 146 mm high, and 139 mm deep. Side-by-side mounting is permitted, which saves rail space in dense panels. Screw terminals accept solid conductors from 0.5 to 4 mm² (two per clamp) and stranded conductors from 10 to 50 mm² (two per clamp). For the main current circuit, minimum permissible cross-section at 40 °C is 50 mm²; at 60 °C it drops to 35 mm².
