The contactor also carries an AC-2 rating at 400 V for 22 kW, covering slip-ring motors where the starting current is lower but the switching frequency is higher. Mounting is flexible: screw it down or snap it onto a 35 mm or 75 mm standard mounting rail. At 70 mm wide and 146 mm tall, it fits a standard panel layout without surprises.
Terminal wiring and environment
For stranded wire, it accepts up to 2x (10... 50 mm²). Solid wire connections are 2x (0.5... 1.5 mm²) or 2x (0.75... 2.5 mm²), with a max of 2x (0.75... 4 mm²). The contactor is rated IP20 on the front with the cover or box terminal installed, which is standard for a panel-mount device — no special sealing needed inside the enclosure. The terminal area itself is IP00, so keep fingers and tools out when live.
Coil and auxiliary ratings
The coil operates on 50/60 Hz with a voltage tolerance of 0.8... 1.1 at 50 Hz and 0.85... 1.1 at 60 Hz. That's a wide band — it'll hold in on a sagging line without dropping out. The DC-13 switching capacity at 24 V is 10 A, which covers most PLC outputs and relay coils. At 230 V AC it's rated 6 A, and at 400 V AC it's 3 A — enough for pilot lights and small contactors downstream. That's fast enough for most safety circuits, but if you're coordinating with a short-circuit protection device, check the let-through energy — the contactor clears quickly but isn't a fuse.
