SIRIUS S3 power contactor, 230 V coil, screw terminals
It is rated for motor loads up to 50 kW at 230 V and 148 kW at 690 V, both at 60 °C ambient, and delivers 22 kW under AC-2 duty at 400 V. Mechanical endurance is rated at 10 000 000 operations typical, with a maximum AC-1 switching rate of 650 cycles per hour.
The 230 V AC coil draws its rated control voltage at 230 V. The auxiliary contact block handles 10 A at 24 V, 6 A at 230 V, and 3 A at 400 V — these are the switching limits for signaling or interlock circuits, not the main power path. The main poles carry the motor power figures: 50 kW at 230 V and 148 kW at 690 V (both at 60 °C) are the continuous motor-load capacities at those line voltages. The IP20 rating on the front with cover or box terminal means the front face is touch-safe in a typical enclosed panel; the terminal area itself is IP00, so it must be inside a cabinet or shrouded. Conductor sizing: solid wire up to 2x 4 mm² on the control terminals, stranded power wiring from 2x 10 mm² up to 2x 50 mm² (derated to 35 mm² at 60 °C).
