SIRIUS S6 Contactor, 220-240 V AC/DC Coil
The Siemens 3RT1456-2AP36 is a SIRIUS brand contactor in size S6, rated for a 220-240 V AC/DC coil supply. It is a current-production part, sourced to order against an RFQ. The contactor includes an auxiliary switch and uses screw fixing for panel mounting.

The coil accepts both AC and DC voltage across 220-240 V, with pickup at 0.8x nominal and dropout at 0.8x at 50 Hz, 0.8-1.1x at 60 Hz. Operating time is 40-60 ms for both AC and DC, with an arcing time of 10-15 ms. The contactor is rated for 10 A at 24 V, 6 A at 230 V, and 3 A at 400 V on the auxiliary contacts — these are the currents the auxiliary switch can safely interrupt, not the main pole ratings. Power wiring accepts stranded cable from 25 to 120 mm², while the coil and auxiliary terminals take solid or stranded 0.25-2.5 mm² (2x per terminal). The spring-type terminals on the magnet coil simplify wiring compared to screw terminals on the main poles.
Mounting and Environment
Dimensions are 172 mm height, 120 mm width, and 170 mm depth. Mounting is by screw fixing on a vertical surface, rotatable ±90° and tiltable ±22.5° front-to-back. Clearances required: 10 mm upwards, 10 mm downwards, 20 mm forwards, 10 mm at the sides. Operating temperature range is -25 to +60 °C; storage range is -55 to +80 °C.
