SIRIUS S6 Contactor with 220-240 V AC/DC Coil
The Siemens 3RT1456-6AP38-0PA5 is a SIRIUS-branded contactor in the S6 frame size, designed for switching motor loads in industrial control panels. It carries a 220-240 V AC/DC coil with screw-type terminals, and the main circuit accepts stranded conductors from 25 to 120 mm². The coil operates on AC or DC supply at 220-240 V rated value, with a pickup voltage range of 0.8 to 1.1 times the rated value at 50/60 Hz. Operating times are 40-60 ms for both AC and DC, and the arcing time sits at 10-15 ms. Mounting flexibility is a strong point: the contactor can be mounted on a vertical surface with +/-90° rotation and +/-22.5° tilt forward/backward. It uses screw fixing through a single 9 mm hole. Clearance distances are 10 mm upwards, 10 mm downwards, 10 mm at the side, and 20 mm forwards.
Auxiliary Contact Ratings and Wiring
The contactor includes an auxiliary switch block with screw-type terminals accepting solid conductors from 0.5 to 4 mm².
