The Siemens SIRIUS 3RT1466-2XJ46-0LA2 is a size S10 contactor with a 72 VDC coil, rated to switch 6 A at 24 VDC.
DC switching capacity drops with voltage: 6 A at 24 V, 2 A at 48 V, 1 A at 110 V, 0.3 A at 220 V, 3 A at 400 V. The 72 V coil holds in at 50.4 V (0.7 × rated) and drops out in 80–100 ms — a slow dropout that matters for DC motor brake sequencing. Arcing time runs 10–15 ms, so the contact gap clears fast enough for most DC-1 and DC-3 loads.
