The Siemens 3RT1466-6QF35 is a SIRIUS contactor in the S10 frame size, rated for a 96-127 V AC/DC coil. Screw-type terminals on the coil and main power path. Mounting is screw fixing, not DIN rail — plan for a dedicated backplate or sub-panel.
The S10 frame accepts stranded cable from 70 mm² up to 240 mm² — that's a heavy power path, typical for motor feeders or main bus switching. The contactor measures 210 mm high, 165 mm wide, 202 mm deep. Mounting position allows vertical surface rotation ±90° and tilt ±22.5° front/back. The front face is IP20 with the cover/box terminal installed; the rest of the body is IP00 — so the panel enclosure provides the real environmental seal.
Coil and switching behaviour
Arcing time runs 10-15 ms. At 50 Hz the minimum operating factor is 0.5; at 60 Hz it's 0.8 to 1.1. The coil holds at 96-127 V nominal — if your control voltage sags below 77 V (96 × 0.8) on a 60 Hz line, expect dropout. Auxiliary switch is included.
