What it is and what it does
The Siemens 3RT1467-6AB36 is a 3-pole power contactor rated for AC-1 duty at 500 A and 690 V at 40 °C. That AC-1 rating means it's designed for resistive loads — heaters, lighting banks, or any load where the inrush current doesn't exceed the steady-state. The coil pulls in on 23-26 V AC (50-60 Hz) or DC, so it works across both control supply types without needing a separate rectifier. Auxiliary contacts come as 2 NO + 2 NC, screw-terminal on the control side.
