SIRIUS S12 Contactor — 3RT1476-6AM36
The Siemens SIRIUS 3RT1476-6AM36 is an S12-frame contactor rated for a 200-220 V AC/DC coil, designed for switching motor loads in industrial control panels. It accepts main pole conductors from 70 to 240 mm² stranded, and accommodates up to four auxiliary contacts via screw-type terminals on the magnet coil. Mechanical endurance is rated at 10,000,000 operations typical, with an arcing time of 10-15 ms and operating times of 60-100 ms for both AC and DC. The contactor is screw-fixed to a vertical mounting surface, rotatable ±90° and tiltable ±22.5° front-to-back. Auxiliary contact ratings are provided: 10 A at 24 V, 2 A at 48 V and 60 V, 1 A at 110 V, 0.9 A at 125 V, 0.3 A at 220 V, and 6 A at 230 V. The auxiliary switch is present as standard.
Integration and Mounting
Panel integration requires screw fixing through a single 11 mm diameter hole. Clearance distances: 10 mm upwards, 20 mm forwards, 10 mm downwards, and 10 mm at the side. The contactor measures 214 mm high, 160 mm wide, and 225 mm deep. Auxiliary contact wiring accepts solid conductors: 2x (0.5 to 1.5 mm²), 2x (0.75 to 2.5 mm²), and max 2x (0.75 to 4 mm²). Operating temperature range is -25 to +60 °C; storage range is -55 to +80 °C.
