SIRIUS S12 Power Contactor, 96–127 V AC/DC Coil
The power terminals accept stranded cable from 70 up to 240 mm², sized for the heavy feeder conductors a contactor this large typically sees on motor or transformer primary switching. An auxiliary switch is built in, with contact ratings that vary by voltage: 10 A at 24 V, 2 A at 48 V and 60 V, 1 A at 110 V, 0.9 A at 125 V, 0.3 A at 220 V, and 6 A at 230 V. That spread covers the common control voltages in both North American and European panels — no separate aux block needed for basic status feedback.
Mounting position allows a vertical surface with ±90° rotation or ±22.5° tilt front-to-back, giving flexibility when orienting the contactor inside a crowded enclosure. Envelope dimensions are 214 mm high, 160 mm wide, and 225 mm deep. That depth is the full body plus terminals; account for cable bending radius when the gland plate is close.
Auxiliary and Control Wiring
The auxiliary switch terminals accept solid or stranded conductors: 2x (0.5 to 1.5 mm²), 2x (0.75 to 2.5 mm²), or max 2x (0.75 to 4 mm²). That covers typical control wiring from 18 AWG down to 12 AWG, and the dual-conductor capacity lets you daisy-chain the aux signal through multiple contactors without a separate terminal block. The consistent pick-up across AC/DC simplifies timing coordination in sequential-start schemes.
