The 3RT1516-1AP60: The DC-13 switching curve is the load-bearing spec here: 10 A at 24 V, 2 A at 60 V, 1 A at 110 V, 0.3 A at 220 V, 0.8 A at 440 V. These are not continuous current ratings — they are the maximum make/break currents for inductive DC loads (solenoids, brake coils, DC motor fields). The arcing time runs 10–15 ms, and the mechanical endurance is rated at 30,000,000 operating cycles, which is the failure mode to watch: contact erosion from DC arcing will limit electrical life well before the mechanical figure. For resistive DC loads (AC-1 duty), the contactor can switch at up to 1,000 operations per hour.
Panel integration and mounting constraints
The S00 frame measures 45 mm wide, 57.5 mm high, and 72 mm deep — it fits a standard 35 mm DIN rail with screw or snap-on mounting.
Screw-type terminals accept solid or stranded conductors: 2x (0.5–1.5 mm²), 2x (0.75–2.5 mm²), or max 2x (0.75–4 mm²). The auxiliary contact rating is 9 A per NO and per NC contact. Coil draw is 5.1 VA at 50 Hz with a power factor of 0.27 at 60 Hz. Switching times: AC coil 4–30 ms, DC coil 25–100 ms.
