SIRIUS S00 power contactor — 400 V AC coil, DC-rated switching
It carries a 400 V AC 50/60 Hz coil and is rated for DC switching up to 10 A at 24 V, 2 A at 60 V, 1 A at 110 V, and 0.3 A at 220 V — so it handles a range of DC loads from solenoids to small DC motors, not just AC motor duty. The contactor snaps onto a 35 mm DIN rail per EN 50022 and accepts screw terminals for the main circuit, with wire sizes from 0.5 to 4 mm². The coil draws 4.4 VA at 50 Hz with a power factor of 0.27 at 60 Hz — a low pull-in burden for the control transformer. Operating time is 4 to 30 ms on AC and 25 to 100 ms on DC, arcing time 10 to 15 ms, so it's fast enough for most sequencing but not for high-speed synchronous switching.
Mounts on 35 mm DIN rail per EN 50022; the S00 footprint is 45 mm wide, 57.5 mm tall, 72 mm deep. The vertical mounting surface can be rotated ±180° or tilted ±30° front/back — flexible for tight enclosures. The auxiliary contacts (1 NO + 0 NC) each carry 9 A rated — enough for pilot duty or PLC input feedback. The main circuit withstands 6 kV impulse voltage, suitable for 400 V distribution with typical overvoltage category III.
Environmental limits
Maximum altitude 2 000 m without derating. Mechanical endurance is 30 million operations typical; maximum switching frequency is 1 000 cycles/hour at AC-1.
