The spring-loaded terminals on the main circuit accept 2x (0.25 to 2.5 mm²) solid or stranded wire, which means no screw-torque check during commissioning — just strip and insert.
The 230 V AC coil draws 4.4 V·A at 50 Hz, a light control-transformer load that lets you daisy-chain multiple contactors on a single 24 VDC supply without oversizing it. For motor switching, the AC-1 maximum operating rate of 1 000 cycles per hour sets the thermal limit under resistive loads; exceed that and the contacts won't cool between operations.
