SIRIUS S0 power contactor, 48 V DC coil
The 3RT1526-1BW40: Rated DC switching at 48 V is 10 A; at 60 V it drops to 2 A, at 110 V to 1 A, at 220 V to 0.3 A, at 230 V to 6 A, at 400 V to 3 A, and at 440 V to 1 A — so the 48 V rating is the highest DC current this contactor handles. Auxiliary contacts are rated 20 A per NO and per NC, and both main and auxiliary circuits withstand 6 kV impulse voltage.
The mounting position allows vertical surface mounting with ±180° rotation and ±30° tilt forward/back, so it fits awkward panel layouts. IP20 on the front; the terminal area is IP00. Side-by-side mounting is permitted with 6 mm spacing to adjacent devices. Dimensions: 85 mm high, 61 mm wide, 101 mm deep — the S0 footprint is standard across the SIRIUS contactor range.
Terminal and wiring
Screw-type terminals on the main circuit accept 2x (0.5–1.5 mm²), 2x (0.75–2.5 mm²), or max 2x (0.75–4 mm²) solid or stranded wire. Maximum operating altitude 2000 m.
