SIRIUS S2 power contactor for panel integration
It mounts via screw or snap-on onto a 35 mm standard mounting rail per DIN EN 50022, fitting a 73 mm wide footprint on the DIN rail with 112 mm height and 115 mm depth. Rated 40 A per normally-open and normally-closed contact, it handles motor and resistive loads within that current envelope.
Switching capacity and coil data
DC switching capacity is specified at several voltages: 10 A at 24 V, 2 A at 60 V, 1 A at 110 V, 0.3 A at 220 V, 6 A at 230 V, 3 A at 400 V, and 1 A at 440 V. The coil draws 15 VA at 50 Hz and has a power factor of 0.35 at 60 Hz. Arcing time runs 10 to 15 ms, with an overall operate time of 10 to 30 ms at AC.
Environmental range and mounting flexibility
The contactor can be mounted on a vertical surface with +/-180° rotation and +/-30° tilt front and back.
Wire termination ranges
Main circuit screw terminals accept solid conductors: 2x (0.5 to 1.5 mm²), 2x (0.75 to 2.5 mm²), max 2x (0.75 to 4 mm²). Stranded conductors: 2x (0.75 to 25 mm²). AWG cables for main contacts: 2x (18 to 2).
