SIRIUS S2 power contactor — 24 V 50 Hz coil, screw terminals
Rated operational current at 24 V is 10 A; at 400 V it carries 3 A. The main circuit impulse withstand voltage is 6 kV, and for type 2 coordination the required upstream fuse is gL/gG 80 A. The coil is rated 230 V at 50 Hz, draws 12.5 VA at 50 Hz, and uses screw-type terminals. Main and auxiliary circuits also terminate via screw-type terminals, accepting solid conductors up to 4 mm² and stranded up to 25 mm².
Switching ratings and contact endurance
The contactor is rated for 10 000 000 mechanical operations typical. Maximum switching frequency in AC-1 duty is 1 000 cycles per hour. Per NO contact rated current is 40 A; per NC contact also 40 A. The auxiliary circuit impulse withstand voltage matches the main circuit at 6 kV. Rated currents at intermediate voltages: 2 A at 60 V, 1 A at 110 V, 0.3 A at 220 V, 6 A at 230 V, and 1 A at 440 V. These values define the switching capability across common control and distribution voltages.
Lifecycle stage is current production.
